For more than 20 years, Jeff has advised companies in the technology sector in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, with a focus on complex, cross-border transactions. Prior to his role at Optimal, Jeff served as senior in-house counsel at a global semiconductor manufacturing company, leading their M&A, compliance and data privacy functions.

Prior to his in-house role, Jeff was a senior associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, representing public and private companies on both the buy and sell sides of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Jeff’s clients spanned numerous technology and life sciences industry sectors. Earlier in his career, Jeff was an associate and counsel at Clifford Chance in New York and Paris, advising on cross-border securities and M&A transactions. Jeff also served as a law clerk for Judge Arthur Alarcon on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Jeff is a member of the state bars of California, New York and Idaho.
